Abstract

Although there has been a lot of work on the existence, quality, power and relationship with society of the state, the issue of how this whole relationship turns into a real social contract remains at an abstract level of discussion in the literature. In this study, it is aimed to add depth to the aforementioned discussion by examining the book titled “The Narrow Corridor: States, Societies and The Faith of Liberty” published by Penguin Press in 2019 by Daron Acemoğlu and James A. Robinson.
