Abstract

Yanis Varoufakis is a politician and economist who drew the attention of the world by taking a serious stand against the austerity policies and credit agreements imposed on Greece by the Eurogroup leaders while he was running the Ministry of Finance in 2015. Indeed, this book is a multifaceted work in which Varoufakis discusses the failures of the EU integration process today with theoretical and practical reasons as a scientist, and tells what he witnessed about the incompatibilities of Greece and the EU bureaucracy after the 2008 Crisis through his politician identity.
