Abstract

Balme and Didier's book examines governance and democracy in Europe both in its theoretical framework and empirical findings. The authors analyze developments in Europe both in the context of the political opportunity structures and threats brought by European Union (EU) integration, and in the context of global political activities affecting the EU and European countries.
