Abstract

Contrary to the mainstream theories that have long dominated the discipline of International Relations (IR), Marxism has only found a place in IR in the late 1980s, in the post-positivist period. Therefore, studies on Marxism and IR, which include discussions on what potential contributions Marxism could make to IR, have not diversified as much as other theories in Turkey and have remained limited.
