Abstract

Despite the passage of forty years, Barrington Moore's work still retains its importance as a significant source in the field of Comparative Politics. Despite not receiving the attention it deserves in Turkish literature today, Moore's Marxist perspective, examining the history of countries and the social systems and revolutions they have experienced, can help us understand the origins of many of today's problems.
