Abstract

One of the most important results of modernization, the nation-state system, not only changed the traditional security perceptions of previous political systems, but also tried to transform the subjects living within the country borders into citizens. In doing so, the decision-makers of the nation-state discovered the unique importance of the "child". In the modern era, children were no longer just children, they were educated and disciplined in accordance with the knowledge that they would be the citizens of the future.
