Abstract

Writing on Turkish foreign policy, especially from Turkey, involves certain difficulties. Firstly, it is observed that there have been no previous studies on this subject. Secondly, there are problems that come with writing on this subject from within the field. In addition, numerous books, articles, reports, etc. have been produced over the years on Turkish foreign policy, and it is not possible to address each one. Therefore, such an initiative necessitates an evaluation through more general categories and trends. Finally, due to these concerns, this general evaluation will not make direct references to new period studies as much as possible.
